The Alabama Thoroughbred Breeders Racing Association Resident Stallion Nomination Form

This years auction was held, but there are still some great stallions available below - just call or email to make an offer on the ones that are not listed as sold. This event is to raise monies towards The Alabama Stallion Stakes Series. There will be two races, one for 3 year old fillies and one for 3 year old colts and geldings. Each race will be for a purse of $50,000 or greater. The first races shall be run in 2011 and each year thereafter. There will be additional races added as fund raisers and additional donations are made over the years. All races, times, locations will be decided upon on a future date. The Stallion Stakes series will be open for all Jockey Club registered stallion owners to participate. Stallions that stand outside Alabama can participate by donation of one stallion season. Stallions that are resident to Alabama can participate by paying a $250.00 nomination fee. Once the season is donated, or the stallion is nominated, all of said stallions' progeny will be eligible for that year's resulting foal crop. Each foal from the approved stallion shall pay additional fees. The foal nominations will be $50.00 for the weanling year, $100.00 for the yearling year, $200.00 for the two year old year and a $300.00 entry fee to complete the foal's eligibility requirement for the stakes series. All stallion season donations are tax deductible under the non-profit donation status of The Alabama Thoroughbred Breeders Racing Association.
